The World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC) recognizes excellence in coffee roasting, evaluating competitors on their coffee evaluation, preparation, blending, and roasting skills. Competitors are judged on pre-roasting preparation, roasting profile development, production roasting skills, and final cup quality.

The 2027 WCRC will take place on the show floor at World of Coffee San Diego, from April 9-11 in New Orleans, Louisiana USA.
